At the heart of Arcade Creative sits local stalwart and entrepreneur Steven Papas. With a stint overseas trawling Europe five years ago, Steven took this as the perfect opportunity to absorb the culture of the fast-paced cities. Returning to relaxed and easy-going Brisbane, Steven took the chance and launched his own club night Dirty Thursdays. Artists such as Will I Am, The Crookers and Felix da House Cat have all rocked out mid week under the Dirty brand.

Due to his foresight, tenacity and brilliance, Thursdays would be the new start to the party weekend. In a natural progression the position of Monastery's Entertainment Manager was soon offered to Steven, and consequently his introduction to the fundamentals of the industry.

Fast-forward to 2009 and the success of The Arcade Creative, firmly stamping its mark on Queensland's music and entertainment scene, courtesy of sellout shows, Sinden & Fake Blood, The Bloody Beetroots and Steve Aoki, as well as co-presenting the Outrage stage at Stereosonic 2009 and Future Music Festival 2009.

Steven's experience for booking artists, and the way in which he can promote them to the masses is unquestionable. This also can be said for his undying passion, drive and ambition for a scene that he bitterly loves.
