The Arcade Creative was engaged by Retail First to design and deliver an event campaign that would encourage Brisbane foodie’s and cultural seekers to explore and discover the vast array of food outlets and restaurants at Sunnybank Plaza and Sunny Park Shopping Centres.
The result was the inception of the Sunnybank $2 Food Trail; a one-day-only self-guided foodie adventure, engaging 24 key food & beverage retailers across the two centres, and attracting 6000+ excess customers to the centre to participate in the event.
The Sunnybank $2 Food Trail gave new and returning customers the unique opportunity to choose their own Sunnybank foodie adventure, exploring both centre’s food offerings and ordering from special $2 tasting menus at participating restaurants & outlets.
Each stop on the Sunnybank $2 Food Trail offered two mini-dishes; allowing participants the opportunity to graze their way through a deliciously diverse range of Asian cuisines including Chinese, Japanese, Hong Kong Style, Vietnamese, Korean, Taiwanese and more!
The event was captured with official event photography videography, while valuable customer data was captured via a successful tactical competition.
Delivery of services included overall concept development, branding and creative, full programming and entertainment bookings, management of all suppliers and stall holders, logistics, production and event themeing/trail marking and management plus all marketing, promotions, PR, advertising, social media management and post production.
